Farnham to Guildford Walk

Service Description

Join us for a lovely 12 mile linear walk from Farnham to Guildford! Part of our North Downs Way series of walks. We will walk along the NDW from the beginning of the the national trail. We will learn about the natural and human history of the area while taking in the natural beauty of the Surrey Hills! Start: Meet us at the start of the NDW just around the corner from the Farnham Station. (What Three Words: javelin.quit.ascendant) at 9:00. Finish: We will end our walk at the Guildford station between 14:00-15:00. Walk Level: This is a moderate walk as there will be some climbs and descents on our walk. There will probably be mud. Lunch: Please bring a packed lunch to eat during a break along the trail. Equipment: You will need sturdy footwear (good for mud) and a water bottle. Some parts of the walk will probably be muddy and slick. Dogs: Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome. Children: 12 miles makes this walk unsuitable for young children. Participants must be 14 and older. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. Travel: Regular trains run to and from both Farnham and Guildford stations. Tickets: You must book tickets for this walk. We may have to turn you away if you show up without a booking through the Hikes of Surrey website (not Facebook). COVID Information: Hikes of Surrey is not responsible for your health. We require participants to act responsibly and maintain social distancing with others not in your household. You will be required to use hand sanitiser at the beginning and end of the walk. Face coverings are optional. In the unlikely event that you contract Coronavirus from any of our walks, we cannot be held liable. By booking this walk you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.
